Home schoolers from across Arkansas gathered today in Little Rock for Home School Day at the Capitol.

Home School Day at the Capitol is more than just a field trip to Arkansas’ leading legislative building; it’s an opportunity to interact with lawmakers, build friendships with our elected officials, and make our voices heard on the issues that matter to us.  It’s an educational experience on the inner-workings of government.

Today, families from every corner of the state made this event a success, and we would like to thank everyone who participated.  Thank you for your support; we look forward to hosting our next Home School Day at the Capitol in 2011.

Important: We want to hear your Home School Day at the Capitol Stories! Did you get to visit with your senator or representative? Did you and your children learn something interesting during the tours? Do you have suggestions for future events at the Capitol? We want to hear about them! Leave a comment at the bottom of this page, and let us hear from you.
